The Dashboard is the first thing you will see when you log into Canvas. You can return to your Dashboard at any time by clicking the Dashboard link in the left-hand navigation menu.
Open Dashboard
If you are not already at the Dashboard, open the Dashboard by clicking the Dashboard link:

Your Dashboard will look something like this:
The Dashboard is your landing page in Canvas. There are three views available:
- Card View: displays course cards for quick access to your courses. (This is the RECOMMENDED view.)
- List View: displays all course to-do items in an agenda view
- Recent Activity View: displays all recent activity for your courses
Set Your Dashboard View
To set your Dashboard view, click the Options menu (three dots) and select your preferred option. To navigate most easily, we recommend CARD VIEW.
